More than 20 years ago Stage III Concepts brought to market the very first silver ribbon/air-dielectric cable specifically for audio power delivery. PROTEUS maximum current, precision power cable borrows many essential elements from the Leviathan along with some from our award winning (Positive Feedback Magazine 2016) A.S.P. Medusa speaker cable.

The A.S.P. PROTEUS employs the same expanded cross-section, heavy gauge AeroStrandUltra™ conductors as the Leviathan. Our proprietary radiation-invulnerable shield blocks all external airborne interferences and is further enhanced by extreme mechanical damping, similar to that found on our Medusa speaker cable. The conductor arrays in these cables are fully encased in our granulated H.D.A. (High Density Alloy) which is ideally suited to damp and completely nullify induced vibrations that commonly affect audio cables running along the floor. Its unique and carefully calculated design makes the PROTEUS one of the only audio power cable designs in the industry that is tailor-made for power distributors/conditioners, amplifiers or any high-power component that is positioned on or near the floor of the listening area.

A.S.P. PROTEUS power cables employ 4x2 heavy-gauge Cryo-treated, custom slow-extruded silver/palladium AeroStrandUltra™ ribbon conductors.  Air dielectric with FEP Teflon air-tubes. Multi-layer shield with H.D.A. 100% radiation invulnerable foil + plated copper braid.

Geometry consisting of 4 individually damped and shielded stacked dual conductors in a quad helix configuration + heavy gauge plated silver ground wire shielded with silver plated braid. 

Multi-layer construction with soft-polymer tubing + HDA alloy/ceramic/ferrite extreme mechanical damping/shielding layer.  Custom, hand made proprietary polymer/fiber plug + cable housings.
